Am I too soon if I congratulate Portugal in their victory?
I know football is football, but I don't really see Greece at the same level as Portugal.

It's good for the Olympics, Cyrano!
Get with the programme!
Have to get those Greeks to work harder on completing the stadia somehow!

lol, the Greeks beat Portugal allready in the first match (opening play).
Looks like Greece have the better cards.

Only if the Portugese take the Greek captain's girlfriend.. :)

That's my point actually. They caught the Portuguese asleep, but they are not going to let that happen twice.
Quality-wise, Portugal is the better team of the two, and the surprise factor is gone (they have already played against each other), so I'm with Portugal on this one.

You would think that by the time they played France the suprises would have been over. Surely by the time of the Czech match. I guess we will have to wait and see, but I like think the Greeks have a pretty good shot at it. Portugal are no better than the French or the Czech's.
Are they better on paper? Perhaps, but thats why they play the games. Sure wish we had Karagounnis for the final though.

It is all a bit "convenient" don't ya think?
The hosts are in the final and playing the country hosting the Olympics.
I might actually be thinking it was a conspiracy....if it wasn't for the TV revenue issues that will cause serious problems in the future.
Sadly given that the really big name (and big population) countries are "out" hundreds of millions of fans have simply stopped watching the competition.
I am concerned about the effect this will have on the next Euro tournament in four years.
