I can't believe my tax dollars are funding this TRAVESTY!
My 5 year old SON could draw better than that!

Geez, I remember reading something about this years ago, I thought it was distastfull back then as well.
Looks like they changes the colours they were using,

This falls under the "Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD" catagory.

Looks very interesting and educational. I wish these exhibits were available when I was doing Vertebrate Anatomy 201.

The exhibition was here in London a while back and I really wanted to go and see it, but somehow couldn't make the time.
It looks fascinating if you're interested in Anatomy. I think the guy who does this (Walter something or the other) wanted to have a televised dissection of a human corpse on UK TV but that got kaiboshed. He did carry out the dissection in a lecture hall though.

Is it coming to Portland? Sounds like a pretty incredible exhibit.

Looks cool, and it had some educational purpose. I guess some are upset and understandably so, but it's a lot more attractive than having chimps throw feces at you at the local zoo :lol

Its shocking display of flesh and bones has offended many observers who claim it violates the sanctity of the human body.
There is always someone to complain. I can understand why someone would not like it but how can it violate when they knew what they were donating there body for?
The woman was one of more than 200 people who donated their cadavers for use in "Body Worlds: The Anatomical Exhibition of Real Human Bodies

Not me. I don't mind seeing some people with their clothes off but they've got to keep their skin on.
