umm. that link you posted gives me the same version of DX i have now, from like 2-3 months ago. was there a version of DX9 before 9.0b?
if so i guess i missed it sorry then.
just curious if there is a version beyond 9.0b (4.09.0000.0902)

DirectX 9.0b is the latest at this time. The post is for those that are getting the "d3dx9.dll cannot be found" error.
If you are getting that error, then you need to update to DirectX 9, if you are not getting that error, then you have DirectX 9.
