I ran across this in a low key article in a medical journal:
We're all familiar with claustrophobia and arachnophobia, but what about these?:
gynophobia: fear of women
mechanophobia: fear of machines
harpaxophobia: fear of robbers
linonophobia: fear of string
ergasiophobia: a fear of work of any kind
scopophobia: An abnormal fear of being looked at or seen.
bibliophobia: A dread of books.
erotophobia: An abnormal fear of love, especially sexual feelings and their physical expression.
hedonophobia: a fear of pleasurable experience
neophobia: dread of or aversion to novelty/news
I can picture "Bob" (afflicted with gynophobia, linonophobia and erotophobia) giving himself a larger than prescribed shot of Cisordinol-Acutard, when confronted with a beautiful woman only wearing one thread of garment.

Came across a quiz on phobias the other day... turns out there are also words for the fear of getting peanut butter stuck to the roof of your mouth and the fear of large words.

I have an irrational fear of tea.

phobiaphobia - fear of words that end in phobia or fear of fear?
Phobophobia is fear of developing a phobia, guess one just can't have too many phobias.
