we have lots and lots of open fields, forested tree areas grassy rock areas farm areas etc. we need city areas... lots of dense building cover!
could ah2 terrain editor have 1 tile that is exclusively covered in buildings and roads?
that would be cool to fight in like the trinity festerma and ozkansas tank towns were and beyond the city you have the kickass ah2 ground cover! :)

Hhhhmmm lemme see:confused:
I posted some time ago that the ground aspect of AH would become more important and it will change gameplay in many ways.
I was laugh at, poked fun of and to this day still get all the names in the book. I was told "this is a flight sim" not a GV game:rolleyes:
Now make sure everyone steps right up and tells Fester here how, lame, stupid, dumb, geeky, wrong, bad-idea, "no we don't need GV people", what an after thought these silly GV's are.......................... ........the list goes on
Anyways, to all from the best damn GV squad in AH

And What's wrong with that?
Gimme that crackpipe:lol

I agree with fester, city-type area for gv's would be neat
-
A city type area like tank-town?
Or more spread out like villages & townships ?
-
Well at least your the second best GV squad :)
-
More use of the road system would be nice.
I'm no terrain specialist, but I'm willing to learn the TE if it comes out. It seems that now, one should lay out V bases first, that represent the advance by land, and then, lay the airfields.

Yah, it should be fun. From the little I have seen in GVs thus far, it appears the resolution for each 1 mile sector has been greatly increased. That means a lot more flexibility in creating choke points and ambush points. Hoping to get my vitually grubby fingers on it soon :).

close to base spawn poins should be scrapped...
gvs should be flown using a c47 pulling a glider.. when relesed the pilot jumps to the glider controls and lands it.. when stoped he controls his tank..
or move spawn points back.. i hate the camping strat..

Seeker, I believe the answer lies in FesterMA - a line of VHs with short distances apart.
Now, in FesterMA, these VHs are isolated from fields by distance and mountains, but the concept itself is what is exactly needed.
It effectively depicts a road system - following the 'line' of VHs, and taking them one by one, to finally advance and arrive at a capture point.
