Hmm, you Europeans sure name your food strangely. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif) What exactly is this chicken dish you speak of? Can you please send me a sample? (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) In return I'll send you some Turkey with cranberry sauce from tommorow nights dinner.

It isn't European food at all - it's Indian (although it has been Anglisized I should think). 'Jalfrezi' means 'Dry Fry' and is basically your standard curry sauce with tomatoes, red peppers (although I prefer both to be in there) and chopped chilis. There's always a large dose of coriander as well. Here's a picture:

Curry rocks!
Turkey and cranberry? Nice. We only have Christmas for that kind of thing - I think we should get more holidays like that. We work too hard in this country - all the other Europeans work much less hours and still have the same standard of living. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Don't listen to propaganda Dowding !
Here it's more 50h/week event if officially we don't work more than 35 (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

Maybe the 'grass always seems greener...' etc. If things don't change in the next ten years I'm gonna find myself a job on the continent. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

One thing they have on the continent is space. England is so crowded it's silly. OTOH France is a *really* expensive place to live (20% VAT!). When I make my millions, I'm going to retire to New Zealand.

Hey Dowding,
Thanks for the pic. It is now set as my Wallpaper, Much better than the pony that was there previously (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif).
IMO,
Try a Chicken Balti from Birmingham.

Yeah! Birmingham is the balti capital of Britain. I have a friend who lives near there (he supports Kidderminster Harriers I think), he keeps trying to get us to come down and sample the balti houses down there. Might get there one day.
