my saitek st90 joystick does not have a third axis. Does anyone know how to set the rudder controls as buttons?

If your stick is recognised in the AH joystick mapping you can assign them there, if not and you use an out side program to load maps to your stick assign "A""S" and "D" to your stick (left, center, and right rudder).

no I don't know what programs saitek uses for programing. you might try http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.htm see if you can find your stick and down load the drivers and programs for it. I wouldn't load the drivers if your stick is working ok now, but the program should help.

Have you tried mapping them using the stick mapping already in AH?

If your stick works to fly it should be recognized already, and you should be able to map the buttons.

Barring that, the default keys for rudder control on the keyboard are A, S, & D.
