So.... I'm sure the anal retentive "phony realism" crowd will heap their disdain on em... Terms like "mindless, low alt furball" come to mind.  

Too many people are just simply having a blast around em...  My squaddies are getting back together and enjoying their online time again in record numbers.  Now that I think about it, so are the other AHers tho.  Seems there is something for everyone to do now so long as they have a carrier afloat.

Maybe it also has something to do with the new map tho.   More fields closer together maybe.   The island in the center.... I don't know.   Whatever it is tho.... We are seeing way too many people having a good time.   I expect the anti fun crowd, elitists to start up any minute now.

Well, this "phony realism" lover also loves a good CV furball, too.

The CV's and boats in general are a hoot! And those PT boats....Drop-dead gorgeous!

Anybody fly the Warbirds Scenarios "Fast Carriers"? Organized by Fletchman.

Those scenarios were great. Now that we have the TBF, we need a re-creation of those. Two CVs, randomly placed on a big Solomons Map.

Japanese side gets the Zeke, US gets the F6F. Both sides get the TBF. Launch your scouts, form your strike, organize your CAP and Escorts.

Big fun.

I had two flat-tops less than 100 metes apart under my control, I felt like Charlton Heston for a moment. The thing that pisses me off tho is that Cit always comes and bounces me outta the bridge!
