On the one hand you've got Lazs and a few others saying that Edwards appeals to mis-thinking chicks who will vote based almost solely on Edward's looks and.... On the otherhand we're bombarded by a whole truckload of neo's who can't help themsleves from making ugly jokes about Kerry.

yeah Nash, but come on.... that pic of Kerry under a sign that says "OBEY" is frightening. The man is running for President, I don't think he should be sending that kind of message to the public.

Can you post the pre-mumified version of that pic and the context? I've never seen it before.
Not doubting it... but at the worst it represents a blunder by his handlers and opportunism by the press photographers. Just like the photographers would always try and position Ashcroft's head between the nekkid Justice statue's tits when taking a picture of him (and why Ashcroft over-reacted and got them covered up).
Anyways... I highly doubt Kerry has ever run under any "Obey" slogan, so what's the story with this pic?

Anyway, it's from an 80's B flick called "They Live". It's one of those movies you watch and laugh at but leave feeling entertained. (Reminds me in many ways of the AH BBS.)
You can prolly find it in the bargain bin at your local video hut, and it's a good way to kill a lazy Saturday night at home. Invite friends and bring beer.

I use that to this day. If I messed up and forgot.... and my boss comes in and says "Did you follow up with (client X)?" My immediate tendancy is to say "I don't know what you're talking about".

Some friends and I where at a Denny's type place late at night shortly after we had seen that movie.
Someone ordered something and when it arrived, it looked nothing like the menu pic. He was looking at it like, "wtf?" and someone pipes in ( as thought they where the waiter reporting to the manager) "we've got one that can see"
It's probably one of those "had to be there" things, but I still laugh when I think about it.
