Title: i wonder
Post by: doolitle on July 06, 2004, 04:51:49 PM
alot of people fashion their squads after historic ones that were in service durring ww2(esp'the ones with a respectable combat record)

anyone know why  the tuskeegee airmen havent had a squad named in honor of them?(in AH that is)

I fly red-tailed pony(when I wanna fly pony) you don't wanna come up against AAMilnes redtailed pony, cause Ill turnstallfight with a niki and rape it.

Tuskegee rocks

dont let me catch your sorry arse running in a redtailed pony.
or Ill shoot you outta the sky, shoot your chute, land and kick you, and steal your wallet, you can play the 412 gelded runstang business in any other pony.

I respect those who wish to walk that fine line. ;)

I also know that a 16yr old doesn't know when not to cross it.

And all that sass coming from a squad mate.

Chilling.

Doolitle

There are at least a couple of others who hold the Tuskegee airmen in high regard.

I was one of the original founders of 332nd Black Aces squadron that flew in Warbirds. ( dead now, everyone drifted away)

The 332nd Flying Mongrels is loosely based on the same principles. Out of respect they have not used the tuskegee name.

That squadron has spawned 2 others who carry on the 332nd tradition.

332nd Vikingings (Euro branch/sister squad)

332nd Wolfhounds (new, daytime MA group)

The Black Aces, & the Flying Mongrels have always both had a big thing about discrimination. From any source, aimed at any person.

Its a big part of what has made me who I am.  Like the tuskegee airmen we do not believe in belitleing people for any reason.  Give every one who wants it a fair fighting chance.  Former & current members are to be found throughout AH & other sims. Quietly trying to make a difference.

to all current & former members of

332nd Black Aces
332nd Flying Mongrels
332nd Vikings
332nd Wolfhounds

Well Doolitle not a bad opening line, shows you have had some pratice with [ i am a victim syndrome.] Just enough sarcasm to let everyone know you think you know the reason without going over the line.I dont know what colour you are,how long your hair is,what car you drive or if you use the restroom in the morning or evening and whats more I dont give a darn. The answer to your question is so simple I hardly believe you missed it.Not all but the great majority of those that fashion their squads after historical ones is because their father or uncle or grand pa or great grand pa or some realtive was a member of that unit during ww 2. I am proud to say that a fine young mans [a member of the 31st ]grand father flew for the tuskeegee air unit.[ I wonder] why he didnt start a squad [as you say]. I suspect his experiance is similar to mine i wasnt on a week before i was invited to join the 31st and a couple other squads, i could hardly fly yet.
So please take your racist innuendo and thoughts else where as the great majority of us in here will not tolerate them.

Do you get some kind of satisfaction from writing long, elaborate replies to practical non-issues?  Its getting kind of pathetic.

And don't forget Doolittle, when in a verbal arguement toss around "My Dads bigger than your Dad". If you say it with authority you might be able to get the more infamous "I am rubber you are glue..." quote  too. That one is sure to impress. :aok

i am sorry if my reply was to long for your attention span,I notice you didnt say that about ghosth well written reply,so I looked around at other places u have replied to and found many of those places had longer replies then mine and u didnt say any thing to them as u did to me...then i remmembered, when a liberal sees a truth he doesnt like and cant refute the first thing he/she does is begin with put downs , name calling etc. so thank you i wear your reply with honor.

  doolitle
I was all set to answer your question didnt want to because it would take more time than I have now,I have already stated you are good [and I mean it] if I said nothing my response would have been of less value .Than I noticed one of your sayings that is always on your replies....Only fools duck when the truth is thrown at them........Doolitle you ducked.....

Yes i caught your meaning with the word assuming whether blatant like hawkers or subtle like yours what I said above is true for both..still it was a pleasure responding to your thread.

WOW!  This thread has everything!  Curiousity, name calling, historical events, racist innuendos, and even an awesome picture.

A big lebowski quote:  ".... You try that s*&@ with me, you flash a piece on the lanes, and I'll snatch it away from you, shove it up your a*# and pull the trigger till it goes 'CLICK'.  'Jesus'.  You said it man!  Nobody f*@!$ with the Jeus!"

Just a synopsis:  1.  Never saw the racist remark... I think that was unfounded.

2.  demaw: don't take this the wrong way, but he's right, your posts are hard to read  =)

3.  The 412th are some of the best pony (and overall) sticks in the game, I'm positive that if you doubt them Pooh21, anyone of them will meet you in the DA whenever you want.  You should probably sharpen those stall fighting skills before you head over =)

4.  As said before there are squads with those Tuskeegee men in mind, but as far as the naming, they aren't listed explicitly.  Lots of good guys in some of those squads listed.
