I was under the impression that Joltin Josie was owned by the Planes of Fame in Chino, and had been repainted as Porky II. At least that is what Steve Hinton told me last year when I was at the show in KY where they keep Glacier Girl.

That is a nice looking skin though.

yeah i wasnt reading it too closely, I read something about it flying with the airforce in airshows. There appears to be a Joltin' Jose and a Joltin' Josie, only difference is Jose has invasion stripes on the wings.

Yep "Joltin Josie" is now Porky II.

And to be accurate, Josie isn't a historical paint scheme as Josie is Bob Pond's wife.  Bob Pond being the owner of the 38J

And of course Porky II was a 38G so painting an AH 38 as Porky II wouldn't be historical either as it's too late of a 38 model.
