The 56th Fighter Group (nomdegure@sc.rr.com) is currently accepting applications.
Our squad is based on the historical Fighter Group led by Col. "Hub" Zemke and his Wolfpak. The 56th Fighter Group is the only Fighter Group which flew the P47 "Jug" throughout all of WW2 without switching over to the P51 "Mustang". We Honor that by flying mainly the Jug in AH2, but we do on occasion fly lesser aircraft such as the p51 when necessary :D
We respect the history of the real 56th Fighter Group, and try to recreate the successes they had by flying agressively, cooperatively, but also carefully. Our main objective is to complete the assigned mission succesfully, and have all members land thier sortie so that we can live to fight another day.
We take pride in not dishonoring the real 56th's name, by getting embroiled in flame wars on the BBS, or insulting and cussing at people in game.
We give out salutes when a good fight was fought, win or lose.
