Title: No work today...It's Boat Day
Post by: Curval on July 09, 2004, 06:52:06 AM
Every year around this time the office closes and we all hike down to a dock in Hamilton and jump on a large cruising boat.  Open bar and food provided.  We usually go out between a number of islands and anchor.  People swim, snorkle, water ski etc., and this year we have those underwater scooters availiable....I will try not to lose mine.  :)

lol

:D

Have fun at work today suckers.:p

As to what they are, didn't you see Thunderball man??...best Bond movie EVAR!  The ones we had were kind of like this:

Scooter (http://www.divebooty.com/equipment_details.asp?pid=5682)

They were pretty useless for snorkelling...you need scuba equipment to really have fun....oh, and you need to take off the governors too.  :)

As to coming with locks...I beat you to that little jibe in my initial post, where I said I'd try not to lose mine.:p   I didn't lose it.:)

I'm up...not too bad of a hangover because I drank a ton of water and had a good steak dinner that night.

Off to Hamilton in a few to grab some "quarter round" samples.  I need to put it around the baseboards of 2 rooms that have had the carpet removed and hardwood floors sanded and varnished.  There is a gap between the floor and the baseboard of about 2 inches now which I need to sort out before lugging all of the furniture etc back in them.

The two rooms are the kids rooms.  I did this to reduce dust mites and mold in the boys rooms because of their asthma.

Busy day.
