Title: intialization error

i just installed a new video card ati 9600 xt 128mb, i've updated my bio's, video drivers, chipset drivers.

now I get "Intialization failed with -5 mainsn_failed-2"

any help would be great

Ck your soundcard for installation and correct drivers...Had the same thing and somehow my soundcard was uninstalled. What Os are you running? do you have your speaker on the systray? Ck it in control panel and make sure it up and runing (sounds).

first make sure that you have direct x9.0b if so,make sure that you have your original sound card software (for each one)

don't use the original software !!!! find the newest drivers and use them. The drivers they ship with the hardware are old before they get out the door.
