Is HTC planning on adding more planes to the plane set anytime soon? It's been a long time since we've seen anything new. I'd like to through a couple of Planes in for consideration.
1. Reggiane Re.2005
2. Fiat G.55 Centuaro.
Both share the same power plant as the C.205, but are a bit slower and a bit more nimble. The "plus" would be that the Re.2005 has 3 20mm, 2 12.7mm, and an ordnance payload of 1,390lbs. The G.55 also carries 3 20mm's, 2 12.7mm's, and 2 160kg(353lb) bombs on the wing racks. I would trade the C.202 in this game for either of these 2 birds. :)
Thanks,
Roman

More Italian, Japanese, and Soviet fighters please!!

Hey!, leave the 202 out of this.

There really werent to many Italian planes that were any good.
Plus they all looked just about the same and performed just about the same anyway.
They could add a C200 and then between the C200,C202, and C205 they'd have the vast majority of the italian "planeset" covered. The Re-2000 series looked and performed nearly identically to the C-200 series if I understand all the crap I've read correctly.
I would like to see a Fiat CR-42 added though, it was a fairly common biplane fighter used by the Italians. Be fun to fight spits in a biplane :).

You cannot have the Cr42 without the Gladiator.
After all, the top british ace scored a decent part of his kill in a Gladiator.....
Then again, one needs the I-16 for that range....
IMHO the first italian plane to be added should be the Cant.....

Early desert would be way cool....

The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Military Aircraft (p. 232) affirms: "The last generation of Italian fighters of the war, the so-called Series V, appeared too late to have any effect on the outcome of the war .... The Macchi M.C. 205, the Fiat G.55 and the Reggiane Re. 2005 appeared to be extremely useful aircraft and equalled if they did not surpass the best products of the American, Britsh and German aircraft industries."
All three used a powerful German Daimler Benz engine. All three had only limited production, the first two had limited service, and the last had a rear fuselage structural defect that was never fixed.
Since Aces High already has the 205, probably should eventually add the G.55. This would be another advanced but obscure fighter; much use in AH, like the F-4U1C Chog, could soon be disproportionate to its actual use in WWII.
This 568-page book was conceived and edited by Enzo Angelucci and an Italian staff and seems to be an excellent WWII aircraft reference source.

Until some 190-D9 jumps in with a 500 knot dive from 15k and pops the biplane
