I just installed AH, and believe I have all the updated drivers necessary.
However upon launch, I get either a white screen or it trys to create the aircraft cache
and it crashes back to the desktop part way through building the cache.
Hope you can help.
Also my vid card as a Ge Force 4mx intergrated GPU with the latest drivers. Does that card meets the specs for AH??

lol I was reading this post and thinking "Wow x-man has the same system!" Then my brain kicked in and I realized it was you. :)
I will see what others say moddog. Everyone here knows more than I do. :)

Did I see 'Integrated' in there for the Video? As in, not a separate video card? That'd be bad. Also, try digging through the catfights we call 'hardware' discussions, and see who's using what. Lots of folks are still running older GeForce cards, but I'm not sure what models/vintage of cards.
Cheers,

It sounds like your video card is on the weak side. Click start/run and in the box type dxdiag After it loads click the "Display" tab at the top. This will list your video set-up. Specs call for at least a 64 meg card in AH2...I think. I havn't heard any one run with a 32 meg card.
If you do have a 64 meg card, you may have to delete the video8.cfg file in the settings folder of AC. What this does is run the video set-up again when you launch the game. Be sure to choose a lower screen res, and you might squeek by.

Thanks Maddog. Yes it is a 32mb card, but you would think I would at least be able to get past the white screen?
Well I have ordered a GeForce FX 5700OC card so hope that solves this problem...
