Title: umm help installing?

got a skin i want to install, but XP opens the download in bitmap, and changing the file name doesnt do anything? all files in skins are .res files.....

on the AHskins site, the instructions are obstructed by the help bar, and I cant read em all??

Can someone help me?:D

Say for example the skin you downloaded is a P51D. Make a new folder in the Skins folder of AHII and name it p51d1. Put those bitmap files in that folder. Then it will show in the dropdown menu in the hanger as p51d1.

Just add a "1" to the end of the name of the plane. P47D25 skin goes in a p47d251 folder that you make. If you have two skins of the same plane the second would be in a p51d2 folder for example.
