Officials hope that after "a quiet, uneventful evening," the tiger would simply grow hungry and return home in search of food, said Willie Puz, spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Ummmm...
Anyone take into consideration that when a predatory animal gets hungry its natural instincts just MIGHT take over and he'll begin hunting for prey animals?
On that note, what's the slowest, most defenseless, easiest prey animal on the planet?
Time to add that tiger to my trophy room.

If I'm not mistaken, it's also the one of the most successful predators on the planet.

Kinda funny how that works out, huh?

I'm reminded of the Fox reality show, 'Fast animals, slow children'.

Moot point. They shot that tiger dead.
Guess he didn't wander home when he was "hungry," but lunged at a cop instead.
Silly rabbit.

Will tarzan actor dude have to pay for the 'search'?
He should I reckon, and be sued for failure to uphold his duty of care.
He is obviously distraught at losing his pet, but owning/keeping a potentially lethal animal should come with some fairly strict rules shouldnt it?

``Murder is the word,'' Sipek said. ``They murdered a poor helpless animal that only looked ferocious, as any tiger would, but Bobo had a heart of gold.''
Just like Manticore...and we all know how that turned out...even though it's been determined Manticore was trying to protect his master, it's pretty obvious these animals are not helpless creatures.
