I pass this on for the edification of those Americans still undecided in the Presidential election. According to this, Maria makes Hillary look tame. Anyone having additional information pro or con is welcome to add to this thread.
"IF this is all true.. it is kind of unnerving....
Following is a brief background on Mrs. John Kerry. She hates being called that, by the way: Maria Teresa Thiersten Simoes-Ferreira Heinz Kerry. Married Senator Kerry in 1995. She only took his name eighteen months ago and she is an "interesting" paradox of conflicts. If you thought John Kerry was scary, he doesn't hold a candle to his wife.
Maria Teresa Thiersten Simoes-Ferreira Heinz Kerry was born in Mozambique, the daughter of a Portuguese physician, was educated in Switzerland and South Africa. Fluent in five languages, she was working as a United Nations inter-preter in Geneva in the mid-60's when she met a "handsome" young American, H. John Heinz, III, who worked at a bank in Geneva. He told her his family was "in the food business."
They were married in 1966 and returned to Pittsburgh where his family ran the giant H. J. Heinz food company. He was elected to the US House of Representatives in 1971, and in 1976 he was elected to the first of three terms in the United States Senate. A Republican, he wrote a burning diatribe against some of the causes backed by young House member John Kerry.)
Several years later, in 1991, he was killed when his plane
collided with a Sun Oil Company helicopter over a Philadelphia
suburb. The senator, his pilot and copilot, and both of Sun's
helicopter pilots were killed. He was survived by his wife,
Teresa, and their three young sons
Four years later, having inherited Heinz's $500 million fortune, she married Senator John Forbes Kerry, the liberal then-junior senator from Massachusetts. She became a registered Democrat and the process of her radicalization was set in motion.
Heinz Kerry is not shy about telling people that she required Kerry to sign a prenuptial agreement before they were married. John Kerry may not have check writing privileges on the Heinz catsup and pickle fortune, but he is certainly a willing and uncomplaining beneficiary of it.
A lot of hard-earned money, made through many years of hawking catsup, mustard, and pickles has fallen into the hands of two people who despise successful entrepreneurship and who believe in the confiscatory redistribution of wealth.
So how does Mrs. Heinz Kerry spend John Heinz's money?
Just one example:
According to the G2 Bulletin, an online intelligence newsletter of WorldNetDaily, in the years between 1995-2001 she gave more than $4 million to an organization called the Tides Foundation. And what does the Tides Foundation do with John Heinz's money? They support numerous antiwar groups, including Ramsey Clark's International Action Center. Clark has offered to defend Saddam Hussein when he's tried.
They support the Democratic Justice Fund, a joint venture of the Tides Foundation and billionaire hate-monger George Soros The Democratic Justice Fund seeks to ease restrictions on Muslim immigration from "terrorist" states.
They support the Council for American-Islamic Relations, whose leaders are known to have close ties to the terrorist group, Hamas.
They support the National Lawyers Guild, organized as a communist front during the Cold War era. One of their attorneys, Lynne Stewart, has been arrested for helping a client, Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, communicate with terror cells in Egypt. He is the convicted master-mind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
They support the "Barrio Warriors," a radical Hispanic group whose primary goal is to return all of Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Texas to Mexico.
These are but a few of the radical groups that benefit, through the anonymity provided by the Tides Foundation, from the generosity of our would-be first lady, the wealthy widow of Republican senator John Heinz, and now the wife of the Democratic senator who aspires to be the 44th President of the United States.
Aiding and supporting our enemies is not good for America, regard-less of your political views.
If voters will open their eyes, educate themselves and see the real Teresa Heinz Kerry, they will not appreciate her position as ultra rich fairy godmother of the radical left. They will not want to imagine her laying her head on a pillow each night inches away from the President of the United States.
Hopefully they love this country enough to decide that the only way these two will ever be allowed into the White House is with an engraved invitation in hand.
Instead of deleting this, pass it on. Let everyone know these people are unfit to represent this great nation. The uninformed will never hear the truth from the press, who wants Kerry elected!
Those who buy the Kerry facade, beware what you vote for - - - you may regret that you got it!
In God We Trust"
-
KERRY IS BOOSH!!!
-
If she was a conservative heiress to a fortune she'd be crucified in the press.
-
"She became a registered Democrat and the process of her radicalization was set in motion."
"A lot of hard-earned money, made through many years of hawking catsup, mustard, and pickles has fallen into the hands of two people who despise successful entrepreneurship and who believe in the confiscatory redistribution of wealth."
"billionaire hate-monger George Soros"
"ultra rich fairy godmother of the radical left"
lol...I hate Kerry too...but do you think there was any bias in that story?
I'm not sure, but I'm guessing a republican wrote that.:D :lol
-
Sounds like a conservative Michael Moore wrote that.
-
yeah we need this anti-Moore to make "Fahrenheit 666" :)
Seriously that reference to "Barrio Warriors" wanting to take back the southwest states for Mexico rings true. I happened to be visiting the University of Texas at Austin a few years ago and picked up a newspaper published by a Latino student organization there spouting brown-race-as-Master-Race and "take back Aztlan" doctrine. Seems laughable now, but they laughed at the Nazis until they took power, stopped riding bicycles, and started riding tanks.
-
hehe...funny read...
I remember some stuff going on about black panthers being elected to congress, escaped felons running non-profit orgs and the like. later proven to be misinformation.
-
I got the same email but there are no sources for any of this so I just take a wait and see attitude about it.
who knows if it is true or not.
Who knows what kerrie is running on except more strict gun control and a 50 cent a gallon increase on gas prices for everyone.

Obviously Republiclowns hate strong women.

Ya know... we can't get our underwear in a knot if you continue to ask questions like this.
Stop it.

Pretty silly attempt at distraction there RPM..
Hillary was given wide responsibity in Clinton's healthcare reform attempts...
So it's clear that they can influence policy moves even without direct veto or signing power...

Silly? I'll ask you directly Grun. What bill was signed into law or vetoed by a First Lady? Just name one.
I'm sure Laura Bush has the same influence on Dubya. But I don't recall her signing or authoring any legislation.
I'm not voting on anyones wife, child, dog, astrologer, barber or mechanic. I'm voting for 1 man to be president.
Keep slinging mud, NeoCons seem to enjoy it.
-
Slinging mud? NeoCons?
WTF?
Thats the best reponse you can do after I gave you a clear example of a first lady with enormous direct political impact in the formation of policy...
She was the chairperson of the Task Force on National Health Care Reform. This body was directly tasked with preperation and writing of healtrh care legislation.
Thats clear policy making power even without the final yes/no vote...
-
hmm... tides admits to the contributions and tides is a very lefty group dedicated to eradicating the death penalty and redistribution of wealth.
I don't think that it is very defensible that kerrie and co are not extremely liberal. They are total lefties.

All you are doing is slinging mud at a candidates wife. Very manly I might add.
Yes, Hillary was appointed by President Clinton to head a committee on healthcare reforms. It could have easily been 100 other civilians, but in this case she was intellegent enought to handle the job. I say intellegent enough because she later proved this to the citizens of New York and they elected her Senator.
I still don't remember her signing anything into law. The First Lady's position is mostly ceremonial. But if you want to drag down a candidate by attacking his wife then by all means be a manly republican man. Nothing says testosterone like picking on a woman. You da MAN!
-
What have I said against any potential first lady in this thread?
Are you making stuff up as you go? Or maybe trying to twist my jab at John Kerry?
Or maybe you just like throwing out lies and insults... Mudslinging?
In our little discussion here between you and me I think it's fair to say that the only mudslinging has been cming from you RPM...
Hillary headed a commision tasked with writing legislation. Writing legistlation, one more time. This wasnt some watermelon chat session - it was serious political power.
So for the nth time there is clear proof of a first lady who had political power even without a direct yes/no vote. Of course you can just continue ignoring that heading a commision tasked with writing legislation intended on reforming something as big as oh the national healthcare system is not power - but that would be pretty desperate..
-
they can make the POTUS "sleep on the couch" - LOL
mrs ketchup can barely speak English - maybe the minority immigrant vote?
-
they can make the POTUS "sleep on the couch" - LOL
And THAT translates to veto power -LOL

President Clinton appointed her to a task force to devise reforms to America's health system .
Many unelected are tasked with writing plans that are presented to congress..
Just saying..

Grun, the entire point of the post is a mudslinging slam at Mrs. Kerry.
If all the mudsliging has come from me, where is it? I have not said 1 world about Laura Bush.
Does the First lady have influence? Yes. Does she have political power? No.
The Hillary reference carries the same clout as saying any other civilian that works on a government project has control of the White House. When the First Lady is given actual power by the constitution, then you may have an arguement. Until then, it's his wife you are taking shots at, not him. It's a weak, low blow tactic.
-
rpm must have never been married to think a wife can not tell her husband what to do.........yes dear, right away dear, i'll sign that law today dear.

In the discussion between you and me, you have been throwing out insults the whole time..
Also by bringing up hillary's example of the political power she weilded how have I been insulting either her or Teresa Kerry?
Stop making stuff up RPM.. And what about control of the white house? How did we go from writing legislation to controling the white house... I think ure trying to deflect the topic of discussion...
The only thing I have been saying is that first lady Hillary Clinton had a very powerful position given to her by her husband, the president, a position where she was able to write very significant legislation.
Thats all and none of that is an insult in any way...

tides is a total left wing group.. any money that you give them makes em stronger. If you specify where the money goes it just goes to mostly adminetration anyway and... it frees up money for them to use on their pet leftwing projects.
the urban legend site thing basicly says that everything is true except that she only gave a qurter million or so to tides instead of 4 million like the letter said.

eh, looking at the further info provided from various folks here, stating that money is earmarked for specific local projects, if true, at most you could argue that the Heinz Foundation grants, by supporting a bit of the overhead of the Tides Foundation, might indirectly free up some money for distribution to these other groups. So it's more than a bit of a reach to state that this proves Ms. Theresa supports these other causes.
-
I would agree but... it is not a stretch to suggest that she supports a left wing organization. Her support... allows the organization to thrive.

good for her I think that's great.

Exactly. It is her money, she can support the"No pants for monkeys" lobby for all I care.

nash.. do you think anyone might have thought otherwise?

I also believe that it is her money and she can do what she wants with it. I don't have to admire her for it tho and I can despise her or consider her the enemy if she supports a group that is against what I believe. See? everyone can get along fine ... just nice to have things out in the open.
