I made an image in Photoshop 5.0. I index this image to 256 colors. There is only one color in that image that I am concerned about... How do I determine WHICH INDEX that one color has (it's bright purple, so it's easy to spot). No, using the info window doesn't help, I think that only tells the index on 6.0+. I have 5.0.
It's all about an alpha mask, but I really cannot figure this out. Trial and error would take 256 tries. Need help. Anybody know a lot about this sort of thing?

Krusty since you can't see your index color shoot it to me and I'll get the index number for you.

Cobra, thanks, I appreciate it. Will send zipped bmp to you. However, will need to find a way of doing this myself sooner or later lol!
