Okay I don't know quite as much as the other guy, but I have a ProSavageDDR KMD Video Card that USED to be able to play Aceshigh. A year ago I was playing it, got bored, played something else, and now I want to play again only to find out that something does not want to work. I have 612 MB of RAM and a 30GB harddrive,
Windows XP
AMD Athlon XP Processor 1800+ operating at 1.53 GHz.
and Cable Internet. Is the ProSavage no longer able to run the gane?

With the release of AH2 I doubt the savage will work.
I've been reading of others with savage cards & problems.
May want to consider upgrading video card.
Its a whole new game, we'd love to see you back flying.

Do you mean get an ATI RADEON (out of the question atm) or update drivers? I have already updated the WINXP drivers but I don't quite know where to download the updates for my current drivers.

ok i get the same thing after i play ah2
then try to start it again later. i get that message
i have to reboot comp then its ok again.
i have ati 9000 pro with 2.6.37 omega drivers for win 98se

sigh... that won't help me my ProSavage Vid card is not an ATI, if i was ATI I wouldn't have this problem. I'll have to save up money for a video card then.

If your card does not support T&L you have to get a new card if you want to play, it's that simple...
Good prices here:

Sounds like you have an onboard video card that does not support T&L or DirectX9. Only option is to get a new video card.

Sigh. A $100 ATI 9600 will do the job nicely. Let's not get too dramatic.
Heck, my $40 GeForce 3 (THREE!!!) is still working adequately...

Howdy all!
Anybody have any ideas on an Intel 828456 graphics controller? It wont run AHII and its part of the mother board, so I cant remove it.
I just dont know what to do with myself now that AH is gone. I'm about ready to go buy a used computer that will run AHII just to play again. Please somebody come up with as kick butt way to make this thing work!
Thanks all, Flash

Flash, you can disable the "on-board" video by going into the BIOs when your computer boots up.
First check to see if you have an AGP slot on your mother board...smaller brown plug. If you do have one that pick your self up a new video card, spend at least $100.
set your display properties to standard VGA, and shut down your computer.
install the new video card and boot computer.
when BIOs splash screen comes on enter BIOs...most times its hitting the "delete" key.
using the keys to move around find your old video and disable it. Save the chanfes and exit.
when your computer reboots it should spot the new video card and start the set-up wizard.
...or you could drop it off at a good computer shop and pay them to pop a new card in it. :)
