I am looking for the America's Cup documentary, Aussie Assault, filmed in 1983.
Been searching like mad, even my sis can't find a copy. Anyone have any idea where I can get one? If you own a copy, I'll pay top dollar for a duilicate. Must be NSTC (?) format, however. Thanks.

I dont own a copy, but I have seen it on the shelves in the local ABC Shop. Australian Broadcasting Commision....not kid's 'Learn the alphabet' type stuff btw :)
I'll be down there in the next few days, so I'll have a look around for you.
I have a VCR that can convert PAL to NTSC, I do it for my yankee sister all the time.
If they have a copy, I'll grab it for you, if it is PAL, I'll ....er, make a copy for viewing in NTSC, and put the original away for safekeeping.....yeah, that'll do, no piracy going on here.
Anyway, I'll see what I can do for ya RedTail.
After a quick scan of their site, it is listed, but says availability uncertain, I might have to get them to order a copy in......in which case, I could probably get it in NTSC format, and possibly delivered direct to the US.\\We'll see......I'll let ya know in a couple of days, I'll prolly be down there on Saturday.

If it's easier, I can give you my sister's addy in Jindabyne. She sent me some amazing pics from Thredbo during the fires, she was pretty much ground zero.
Thanks a lot, whateverworks best for you, works for me.

Bad news RT, no copies in store.
They are going to try and get one ordered in, but the bloke at the shop reckoned it could take time, if it ever does happen.
They will call me if they can get hold of a copy.
If they call me, I'll let you know, no money changed hands anywhere, so no dramas if you find it somewhere else before then.
Sorry mate, best I could do.
