Spitv is a 1024 skin but the p40 is still 256. Any comments and suggestions are welcome

Fester did a sweet p40E template in 1024 x 1024, its available from AH2 Skin Dept

P40e is down at the bottom page 1.

I take it the yellow leading edge stripe is not built into the Mk5 model as it is on the Mk9.

The Spit V design comes from a scale model i have, I copyed the skin from the paint guide. As for the p40e template its 1024 but the p40 skin is still only a 256 and wont run at 1024, atleast last time i tryed.

Yes it runs at 1024, all you do is up size it. Hell offline you set any res you want and it works.

Just make sure its its 8/256 colors and make sure the skin is numbered correctly.

As evidenced by any number of skins on the AH2 skin dept site you can up from 256 to 1024.

Thanks wotan i coulda swore i tryed to do it a few weeks back, must made a mistake somewhere. Here is the p40 converted to 1024
