Recently, I enjoy to play Aces High II.
Now I'm having a strong will to edit new sounds... :)
What will be put up in Mitsu's Sounds Collection Version 2.0:
- Adjust engine sound pitch for all aircrafts. most of plane's eng pitch were high. Especially, this adjustment would give natural flyby sounds.
- integrated some gun sounds.
- a new siren. it is more silent.
- new explosion sounds. they'll be cool.
- added slat sound. you might have heard it in somewhere... :D
- changed ground strafe sounds.
- new hit (damage) sounds. I'm adjusting them to feel more realistic.
- new rocket sound. it has higher quality. (I was using real rocket sound, but this one's sound quality was too low.)
- new stall sound. testing now.
- new 37mm gun sound.
- new M2 0.50cal gun sounds.
- changed noisy and ugly b26 engine sound to new one.
more sounds will be coming...btw I'm seeking cool marlin sound for P-51 and Spit9. does anyone have them? I'm gonna change P-51's engine sound because a lot of people don't like it.

I loved your sounds for AH1. I didn't know about them untill AH1 had only a few days left before AH2 went live. I sure miss those sounds.
Not sure if anyone has ever said thank you but if not I will for all.
Those sounds you made sure added a level of realism to this game we all love.

hey mitsu can u give a estimate on how long it will take?? will it be done in the next month or 2 hope it is really excited about it u should make the 109s a little deeper i really like the on one this movie watch it heres his post
My first AH movie (finally!)
It's from my first flight with the Abbeville Kids on furball island, but I only had my own film to work with so don't expect to see much of the other Kids (if any).
Mein Cott what a POS that AH film viewer is! I hope HTC can find the time to make a better one (although I fully understand they have more pressing matters ATM).

Don't know if you noticed this, but you'll have to pitch the sounds up a bit in editing to make them sync with the throttle.
I saw your post about lowering the pitch, but it's played by the AH2 software at a lowered pitch already. Almost too low in cases, hence the raising of the new sounds pitch.

Mitsu, i assume you say the post from HTC .. about the tank gun and reload sound now being seperated into 2 sounds.

I have been using your sounds since they first became available.
You have done a great job.
My question is this. When you make up new sounds for AH2 would it be possible in "engine sounds" to have the engine over rev like a real one does in a dive. Our present sounds stay the same whether we are diving or pulling up. Only deviation is WEP. And Wep doesn't change when we dive stays just as it is in level flight (sound).
Any chance you might be able to develop that?

I lost a few original finished skins when my HD went tits up. Photoshop files and all reference.

Mitsu, feel free to use my engine sounds. About 90% of them are real engine sounds (courtesy of IEN's official WB2004 sound pack). Sounds for the Tempest, Typhoon, and La-La's were gathered from various sources, not stating if they were recorded from real aircraft.
You'll really like the Pony and Spit engine sounds.

Mitsu one request...put a stall clicker sound for the P-38 instead of a stall buzzer. P-38 really did have a stall clicker and not a buzzer.

MSC Version 2.0 is now final testing.
I hope it will be released today (0:00 AM in Japan now). :D
