I wish there were some of these aircraft in AH, just to add variety :)
Bristol Beaufighter
Heinkel 111
Condor
Flying Boats eg Sunderland or Catalina ? - would introduce a whole new element of landing on water

Gloucester Meteor
Any other favourites out there ?

funny, an early warplane i never see requested is the Short Stirling.
The first S.29, now known as the Stirling, took to the air in May 1939 with four Bristol Hercules The Hercules was a 14-cylinder two-row radial aircraft engine produced by the Bristol Engine Company starting in 1939. It was the first of their sleeve valve designs to see widespread use, powering many aircraft in the mid-World War II time frame.
Bristol had introduced their first sleeve valve designs in as the 750 horsepower (560 kW) class Perseus and the 500 hp (370 kW) class Aquila, which they intended to supply throughout the 1930s. Aircraft development in the era was so fast that both of these engines quickly ended up at the low-power end of the military market, and in order to deliver larger engines, Bristol developed 14-cylinder versions of both. The Perseus evolved into the Hercules, and the Aquila into the Taurus.
On its first mission two months later one of the engines failed on take-off, but the plane landed easily. From then on the record improved and service production started in August 1940 at Shorts' Rochester] factory. Several were destroyed during Battle of Britain raids, and operational status wasn't reached until January 1941
Range of 2,330 miles, 14,000lb (or even more, on short range  SIXTY 250lb or THIRTY 500lb bombs) in late 1940/ early 1941....
The Stirling proved to be an excellent design and pilots were delighted to discover that it could outturn the Junkers Ju 88 and Messerschmitt Bf 110 nightfighters they faced: a side effect of that thick wing. Another side effect of the thick wing was poor altitude performance, and many missions were flown as low as 12,000 ft (4,000 m). This made the plane particularly difficult to use in many scenarios, notably if they were attacking Italy

The Stirling had worse altitude performance due to a shortened wing, which was an effect of an air ministry regulation, - i.e. it's original span exceeded the maximum allowable span for aircraft hangars at the time.
Never the less, the first true HEAVY in use. And 60X250 lbs would be quite a thingie.....
A beafighter would also be really nice. A cannon-armed rocked equipped torp carrying plane is one mean piece of muscle we don't have in AH.

I don't know, if it is difficult to model and bring new planes and vehicles in AH.
I think it is nessecary to bring new stuff to balance the Combat arena planeset and make many sets more historical.
But....
... don't bring more jets or experimental planes. Main arena is rumble enough !

I just need to add this to any list thread:
D4Y Judy Judy Judy
or
B7N Grace
or
B6N Jill
I would like a mid or late war Japanese strike plane.
