wrong
it will be about 5 times out further than the moon. Or 6 actual moon distances from earth.
did you mean to say earth diameters? As the earth is 30 diameters from the moon at it's mean orbit. either way, it will be 180 diameters away.

The Mayan calendar ends in 2012 so the world ends then.
At least that's what Art Bell said last time I couldn't sleep...
-
The Bible Code said the beginning of the end is 2006/2007. The end is the same as the Mayan Calender.
At 3 O'clock in the morning, it was better than everything else on TV.

Cant think of any links, but heres what I understand of the Bible Code off the top of my head.
The Bible Code is a matrix based system from passages of the Bible. They take a page or so from the Bible and make a matrix of it, IE. Its spaced with one letter with one space in between each. I dont completely understand the matrix's, but I think thats how they do them.
T h e n N e b u c h a d n e z
z a r k i n g o f t h e a s y r
i a n s s e n t m a s s e n g
e r s t o a l l w h o l i v e d
i n P e r s i a a n d t o a l l w
h o l i v e d i n t h e w e s t ...
After they get a matrix set up, they look for words and things of that sort that relate, almost like a crossword puzzle. Many past events have been discovered using this method, such as the assasination of JFK, the shooting of the Pope, and most recently the 9/11 attacks.
The future has never been predicted, and they cant find anything that relates much, but researchers believe they have found the end of the world.
Using the Bible Code, they have come to the conclusion that the end of the world will come somewhere between 2006-2007 starting with a war in Middle Eastern countries. It is all supposedly triggered by a peace treaty between Israel and Palestine.
There is a very good book out describing the Bible Code, but I dont remember the author. Its actually very interesting stuff, but none of it can be proven true until things happen.

I found a couple of sites dealing with it. Interstingly one guy used the same method as that used in the bible code and predicted that the Bulls would win the championship from Tolstoy's War and Peace. From that he deduced that Tolstoy was the Supreme Creator. :D
Looks like it's basically a pattern search. Given enough text you can find just about anything I suppose.

That is from War and Peace.
Google Moby Dick Bible Code and you will find this:
Moby Dick foretells the death of Leon Trotsky as well as Indira Gandhi, ML King, John and Bobby Kennedy, and several others.

Hmmm, may have to see what we can find in the Voss thread. Maybe the date that AH3 will be released. ;)
At the rate it's growing, we might even find all the code for AH3 in the Voss thread.
