What do you all think about this idea? When you get within 200 of your opponet you can see their game ID, the game ID would replace the range. In real life you would be able to recongnize the markings of most planes at certain angles and within certain ranges. That way on the first pass I would know when to keep on going or turn around and fight.:D

Now, that would be fun!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO WAYYYY
once on AOL AW all icons were game CPID. the aces wouldn't have a chance cuz everyone would go for the ace 1st. the Noobs were left alone for the most part. unless no other enm planes were around. the icons were changed back to normal after couple hours.
imagine the waawaawaawhines you going to hear if AH showed who the enm was.
Trust me on this, leave icons the way it is.
yea I remb that day in AW very well. GRRRRRRRR having 6-7 enm Aces herding ya. bahhhhh nevermind. just leave icons alone.

i think it should work opposite, and 5 - 6k the icon changes to handle.
That way you can abuse the luftweenie's as they run away from you when you get within 5,000 feet of their alt adv.

We had this in Warbirds at one time...

Would be an interesting change. To add to that we could use another kind of range chan to taunt them. ;)
