Instead of cluttering up the "Skins under construction" thread, figured I would post my images here.

I like the 20AF / 15FG / 45FS 86 (Submitted 07/20/04) best.
Problem with P51s is that they're filling up real fast and I would have liked to have seen at least two RAF skins considering the P51 was originally ordered for the RAF ;)

Simply beautiful again MachNix!
Those are definatly the most beautiful P-51 skins I've seen so far in AH2!!
-
p51 already has 10 skins. give the rest of em to raf.
-
I'm surprised noody has done "Glamorous Glen III" yet. A shame, too, because that's one of the more attractive P-51D paintjobs.

You can really stamp those things out. Impressive!

mach if you sumbit those then we are outta p51 skins. We need to have atleast one raf skin in there imo.
-
That is assumming that HTC won't replace one skin with a superior one. Several of the P-51D skins available online are somewhat "rough" and two of them are actually the same skin as far as I can tell.
I like how the 78th FG Mustang above has a pretty good checker pattern even on top of the nose where it's stretched. MachNix really seems to know his Mustang Skinning :)
Glamorous Glen III is lookin' good....sometimes I see it depicted with an olive-drab anti-glare panel, sometimes I see it with a black panel. Jack Roush recently restored a P-51D to mimic Yeager's plane with input from Yeager himself and it has the black panel. Roush now owns both a Glamorous Glen III AND an Old Crow P-51D id I'm not mistaken.
Is Glen Eagleston's "Whitehead Eagle" P-51D doable with the AH system or would the eagle motif not be compatible with the AH skin?

imho, i think the black panel would look better, but either way is great lookin plane, nice job!
-
On "Glamorous Glen III," you are probably right about the glare panel being black. I have seen both ways too and "guessed" OD green. I'll make the change and submit an update. (The image above will change to the new version and you might have to force a reload to see it.)
As far as Glen Eagleston's bird, the eagle would get mirrored to the other side. To cover the 354th FG, I went with this:
9AF / 354FG / 353FS FT-W "Little Rascal" (P51D6061404)
The paint scheme came from a profile with the invasion stripes based on "Arsons Reward."
Maybe someone has more definitive information about the invasion stripes on the upper wing.
As close as I get to an RAF skin is this:

No. 3 Sq RAAF CV-Y KH807 (Modified P51D14061604)
Thanks for the comments.

Hi Mates
Should put some RAF skins on the P51B. RAF used a ton of those.
You chaps are doing a super job with these skins.
Wish someone could teach an old dog like me to do that.
Can fly airplanes but can't begin to figure out how to do what you chaps are doing.
Very nice work indeed

Hi Mate
I live in Oklahoma. From Tennessee.
In flight sims, I been flyin RAF since I retired in 1997. Started in Warbirds and continued on into AH and AH2. Also fly RAF in WWIIOL.
So, Oldest Yank (in age) in VRAF
Got it right that time.
Might be the oldest or one of the oldest people flying in AH2.
