last week I posted about a potential move to Burlington, WI.
Well, it looks like it might be between there and Santa Fe, NM. The company I work for is on the ropes. I've hated it here for way too long and it looks like there is an opening to run a Direct Marketing company in Santa Fe.
For the past 6 months I've been saying to friends that I want to find an up-and-coming DRM company that needs someone that can run the whole thing and get them on tv. It's amazing that whatever I ask god/Universe for.... it always delivers. A vendor that I've confided with about my wishes to move on just put me in contact with a successful guy that has a successful product on radio spot and wants to do an infomercial but he also wants to sit by his pool and get reports while letting someone else build it. That's exactly what I came to this company 5 years ago to learn how to do. The deal will probably be a salary and profit share on the infomecial. So, I go out there the weekend of August 6th to meet the guy and see if it's a match... (deep breath).

LOL to be honest, another big attractor to Santa Fe is the quality of Mexican food.
I was born and raised in So. Cal. and hate the crap they pass off as Mex in the mid west and east coast. What's up with the white cheese????

Yup, the food is good but the real estate prices may shock you.

I've already looked. Can't buy a garage for under 150k. Might have to rent until I find a good deal.

Go to Santa Fe. Think of the weather.

White cheese is about as mexican as you can get. You sure you are not thinking of taco-bell Mexican food?

the white cheese they use in mex food in the midwest and east coast is nothing like the stuff they serve in Austin. It's some kind of a white American cheese.

Well, they need to be summarily shot then.
