Title: Anyone here know how to make a flash web intro?

just wondering... a quick 10 second intro to a web site... some animation, with a sound behind it. i know exactly what i am looking for, just no tools, or clue how to do it.

thanks in advance.

if i'm making a page in MS frontpage, can i paste the flash objest in the middle of the page like i would an image? , then some regular text linking to a main page done not in flash?

frontpage?  are you super rich or crazy?a sever that run frontpage is alot of money and frontpage files wont work on anyother thing. i think.

i got a place hosting it, i just am creating the page myself... updating the old site.

thought you saw our old site, that was all frontpage 2003.

Depending on the complexity of what you want to be done in that intro, you settle for Swish or go straight for the real deal, Macromedia Flash MX, but it'll take you a while to learn the basics.

i dont have the resources to get the software, and was hoping someone here could do it...

totally simple.


the text:

III/JABOSTAFFEL

to appear in the font "vinque" like it was being typed

a background sound of 30mm fire instead of a typewriter for each letter. they of course would have to appear all timed the same.

then the letters:

HQ

after about a 2 second pause to fade in from the center below the III/Jabostaffel, with a bomb explosion sound matching it.

the sounds used would be the sounds from the game.

this would be on a black background in deep red text.

i dont know much about flask, but it doesn't seem too complicated compared to whats out there.
