He caught another bass just smaller, then Hooks into a muskie on his little zebco pole. He hooked a small perch and was bring it to the boat when out of no where came the muskie. I tried so hard to fight his muskie best i could. Other boats were coming to our aid, But the muskie won this time :(. Of course he told me he couldv'e landed it..........................

Very nice! WTG!
Your mention of the muskie reminded me of a summer day many , many years ago when a 24" northern pike got on my hook.
Man what a fight! Look at those teeth! Most wicked catch I ever had.
Thanks for the memories!

Adog your not kidding. I remember going to kingston as a youth. but I had no clue how much fun ontario really is. Fish caught Pike, Perch,Rock bass, large mouth bass, Small mouth bass, Blue gill, Sunfish, trout and 1 muskie hooked but not landed. Game seen Black bear, deer, fox, and moose. With a Eagle thrown in for good measure. All this plus wife and us found crystal's and many other minerals digging at bear lake diggings. all this was done in 4 days and 20 mile radius of Lodge.........
Oh and less I forget people were all right too......

Rod that picture took me right back.
I caught a 5 lb walley when I was his age, unassisted with a zebco 202. Who knows, maybe he COULD have caught the muskie.

Glad to hear you guys had a good trip.

My dad took us to Michigan once when I was a kid, while we were there I was cane pole fishing in a small private pond and hooked into a MONSTER blue gill. After I got it in, we took it to the local bait shop there to have it weighed and sure enough, I beat the Michigan state record by nearly a pound. BUT, as the guy was weighing it and writing down my information, he asked me where I was from. Being young and stupid, I told him, "I'm from NC, I guess I had to come up here and show you boys how to fish a lick". I remember him looking at me in a sort of disbelief and as he stopped writing, he said in a disgruntled voice, "Is that so?" and I never got credit :(
