Borda,
My father-in-law has built a bonya, now I want to give it a try. The wooden structure doesn’t seem to hard but the oven is the key.
Any diagrams or spec’s you could send me to help. Russian/English doesn’t matter I can read both.
I know my in-laws use a wood fired stove with a large "tube" of water over it, with a small vent pipe into the room, is this for radiant heat?

You don't build one, it just happens by itself.

Hm. I'll try to find some sources. It's hard to build a banya in an apartment flat of 60 square meters that I own ;) But I have at least 3 friends who have banyas at their country houses (dacha).

Be patient and save content on hard disk.
