Title: AHII not restarting after ALT-TAB exit

I run AHII on Win 98SE and get a locked white screen on reentry from an ALT-TAB.  

The program still seems to be running OK on reentry because I can hear the sounds, but just have no video.  I can then exit the program using Task Manager, and it does not show up as Not Responding.

Any ideas?


P.S.  On a different subject, why can't I preload textures into my Nvidia 5900 card with 250 Meg of ram?  I would have thought that is enough memory?

Turn the maximum texture size down to 512, or less, and you may be able to pre-load the textures into video ram.

The 'white-screen' after alt-tabs is driver related, or system related.  Hard to even make a guess why it happens.  Things are a bit out of our hands when you alt-tab as Windows takes over.
We do all the right things to restore the display, or it would not work for anyone.

to get back in after an alt/ tab  ..   hit your windows key then left clic on the white screen   (works for me) it just takes a second or to .

Have now found that if I keep a second program running (to switch between) and if I Alt-Tab four times in total I can get AHII back up.
