Interesting, I just read a news posting on how the CIA was going to get involved in the Mideast violence issue.
Looks like they struck! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

U.S. will always be a target, the "Big Dog" with all the money always will be the target, remember, successfulness in todays world means envy, and envy leads to violence.

OT ??

I don't know about you all, but my prayers are with the sailors over there, and the families of those sailors who are worried, confused and waiting to know if thier loved ones are still alive. When they catch the <expletive deleted> who were responsible for this, i hope they suffer as much as those families are now.

I concur with your sentiments.

I'm certainly no advocate for real life violence, but when they figure out who did it, I think it will be something a few cruise missles can cure.

Sorry...no cruise missles in inventory....We used em all up and won't fund anymore being built. Sorry.

I am amazed some people are actually making light of this (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)

This really should move over to the O'Club.

Baddawg, people have different ways of dealing with bad news. Personally, I was enraged and terrified at the news of this attack. A 30 foot hole blasted in one of our ships... 6 dead, 11 missing...
As a reservist Navy Hospital Corpsman, this kind of news strikes absolute fear in my heart. I cannot begin to imagine what the corpsmen of Cole have had to experience. I pray they were spared and able to assist their shipmates. My thoughts are with the sailors of the Cole and their families.
I was truly shaken when I read the first reports. When I came in here, I read the "single hispano round" theory, and I laughed. I'm still pissed, but it was good--healthy even--to see Raubvogel's comment and be able to laugh. Otherwise, with all the negative energy building in me, I'd have to go get drunk, or hurt somebody. Nah, I think I'll go on AH and shoot someone down instead. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Please don't take my Hispano comment the wrong way. As Sancho said, humor never hurts as long as it's in good taste. I served in Desert Storm, and would never take for granted the sacrifices people make to defend freedom.

And the U.S. has sometimes strange ways to defend freedom..EG. bosnia, which i think was just a way to test their new war technology in war enviroment. Share holders need to see that their big money rockets actually work. But my symphaties are on those U.S. crew members. Terrorism sucks always.

I'm in great anger over this...suprise attacks don't sit well with me. (Pearl Harbor)

I may be off target here, but I really liked what my school did today. We had a nice moment of silence(I know thats spelt wrong) to honor those killed and wounded in the blast.
really sad

That post has me both confused and pissed off. Last time I checked, Bosnia was a United Nations operation. Also, the last time I checked, we used the same weapons there that we used in the Gulf War years earlier. And, if I'm not mistaken, the purpose was to stop the genocide and atrocities being carried out against ethnic minorities. My brain-to-language filter is failing, better end this post.

Damn terrorist.
I'm sure the U.S is gonna get them

yup we have very few cruse missiles left thanks to willy not funding them about 6 years ago"""

Bah the US will move to take over the whole middle-eastern region and subject it to the political rule of Bill Gates. If anyone can scare a region into order, Billy boy can.
If that doesn't solve the problem, they can always bring back J.P. Morgan (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
Shame we don't have any cruise missles left to destroy all the latrines, that would stop this even quicker. Can you imagine the explosion of a porta-potty facility?

Can you imagine the reaction of the Navy in the region?
Fingers are gonna be real close to triggers... Lets hope and pray they get the target right.
I sure hope we don't lose any more boys to these little 'surprises'.

You bet they are. There's a simple creed that easily applies here: "I'ts better to be judged by 12, than carried by 6."
