Title: really shaky graffics please help

ok i just bought a new radeon 9600 xt ionstalled everything shut off old onbopard vidcard  but the grafics i get when i run ah are bad really bad i got blocks of diff colors everywhere the screen shakes everywhere i downloaded new drivers and all and it still does it can someone please help me this is driving me up and damn wall

Im no genius on computers but maybe your vid card requires a faster refresh rate that your monitor has to offer.  Just a thought...

well, 1st make sure to uninstall old drivers before installing new ones. You can do that in control panel.

If your processor is lame then a new vid card will not help.

I'll to see the DXDIAG output for this one.  Could be a lot of things.  If you save the DXDIAG output and then look in the fole for "Inactive" devices (listed in it own category) and find any, then those will have to be remedied before you can get things straightened out.

skuzzy if i had any idea what u were talking about lol maybe i could fix the problem dont forget im a simple person lol ill probly give u a call sometime this week if thats ok and try and figure it out on the phone sound good??????
