Post by: storch on July 24, 2004, 10:45:55 AM: going to leave this abomination of a plane set would you consider adding the 202 and the P40 to the lineup? Uncle sam had loaned cousin winston some. Uncle Benito gladly helped out uncle adolf with a squadron or three. If it doesn't upset the planet and knock it off it's axis please consider making it so.

Post by: detch01 on July 24, 2004, 05:57:20 PM: Actually spent several hours in CT today- had some great fights against Storch and a buddy flying 110's in my hurricane this morning ( Storch). Also had an awesome fight just W of 15 in a 109E against 3 hurri's with my wingie SmokinSS about an hour ago. I had a blast. This is a great setup IMHO. If there were more like this in the CT I'd spend more time there.

BTW I'm driving a weak machine and frame rates for me are about the same as the uterus terrain in the MA except right on the deck where I get a slight FR penalty from all the trees but it still remains very playable.

No, Uncle Sam had not and the C.202 is nothing like a C.R.42 biplane.

As for the other maps, 'the boys' are changing over the maps to AHII but it's a slow and tedious process. We got this version of the BoB on Thursday but I didn't have a chance to check it out.

I'm trying different things guys, but one thing I do know, it's very hard to please everyone without pissing one or two people off.

In the mean time, yep - AHII has growing pains. But I remember the same pains with AH Version 1.0. CTD, questionable frame rates.

Anyways, we all love the CT, it's why we fly it. Sometimes, there are a few bumps in the rode that's a pain in the butt. Patience for the next few weeks so Dale and Doug can work out the bugs.
