Furball, that thing looks a lot like a gyro. White Castle "burgers" are not like that. They're actually supposed to be hamburgers, only smaller and cheaper. They taste kind of like 3-day-old reheated meatloaf that went bad on the counter.

Kind of like that fake canned iced tea that tastes nothing like iced tea. I'm not sure this is a good instinct though. Kinda like thinking lead paint is yummy.

In CANADA, a true Donair is Shaved seasoned beef,onions, tomato, and Garlic Sweet sauce(East Coast)
a GYRO is either Chicken or Lamb Kebab style( chunks with stick thru)and Tatziki Sauce(Yogurt dill sauce)

I believe the difference in name is due to two different ways the meats are served.could be worng tho.
and the only good Donair is an East Coast Donair!! Damn i want to be in Hallifax right now!

BUt..first before heading out for that Donair a quick stop at the "Lower Deck" for a couple of Keith's....now your talking. (for those that are getting the wrong idea Keith's is a India Pale Ale....perverts)

drunk, sober, hungry, full, whatever state you are in, always room for a 6 pack of white castle burgers.
