Foothold & Toenails results:
Remember all targets are worth 200 points. If a target is only 30% destroyed then the enemy keeps the other 70% of the 200 points.
USN shot down 67 planes for 795 points.
USN had two targets to attack, A9 and V38.
A9 – 60% destroyed. For 120 points (+80 Axis)
V38 – 30% destroyed. For 60 points (+140 Axis)
Total 1295
IJN shot down 64 planes for 710 points. Two of these were due to friendly fire. Remember kill shooter is off. ;)
IJN had three targets to attack, A5, V4, and P31,
A5 – 80% destroyed for 160 points (+40 Allied)
V4 – 50% destroyed for 100 points (+ 100 Allied)
P31 – 10% destroyed for 20 points (+ 180 Allied)
Total 1210
For all practical purposes this was a draw. :D Both sides lost a very large percent of their aircraft. I was surprised to see the numbers so close. Usually the IJN have quite a larger number of lost aircraft.
To all participants, and
Vlkyrie1 for shooting down 7 aircraft
Notar for shooting down 5 aircraft
Blast for destroying 4 ground targets
