You may have mis read the info... I've read all the links to the page about that 190... It's not "new"... It's restored. I thought you meant "built recently" as in, they're producing new craft on old specs, but it does not seem to be the case on the webpage.

What are you talking Krusty? They build kits and sell them. That 190 is the first more are to come. It doesnt even use a BMW engine.

It says right here

The FW 190 A8/N is sold exclusively as a kit. It is the only warbird, offered in this form, being able to be registered as an amateur-homebuilt kit-plane.

If you read that site then you must have missed this whole page:

Only old part in their 190's are tail wheel units. They found some units which have real combat history.

All twelve Flug Werk FW 190 A8/N do have original tail-wheel units with combat history.

These units recently came out of a forgotten shelter ( !!!) and have been overhauled, including new manufactured receptacles for modern seals, grinding and rechroming the dampeners' piston-rods and the equipment with standard strut-valves, in order to assure serviceability all the world over.

I love this line:

Don't bother asking about : fuel consumption, cost of maintenance etc...It is loud, it is fast, it is mean, but most of all it is fun and yes, it just has one seat !!![/b]

Makes my lil 4 eyes water with happiness , that I in the not so near future ( :D )  might be able to purchase one of these install a longer wing and make a makeshift Jumo213E and have my own lil Ta -152

BTW I thought they would have Doras flying too!
