Title: Yahoo Mail!
Post by: Hawklore on July 26, 2004, 05:00:41 PM
Ok guys, this is irrelevant to the worm this morning...

But on the computer I'm posting on now which is faster and has more memory then the other computer, I can't reply, Fwd. or now can't even send Mail on Yahoo!.

I can on the other computer though, and I was wondering what you suggested I download from Microsoft, cause I bet I'm behind on some upgrades, or maybe a new IE version is out?

Thanks for you help!
Hawk

I can use Yahoo! Mail on one computer but not the other.. And the one I can't use it on is the faster one.

Now that I'm traveling I use Yahoo mail almost exclusively. No problems with it this last week at all. I use a satelite connection and also tried a buddies computer on a different sat rig and satelite as well. I saw on the news that Google was hit by mydoom and it was out of service. I didn't notice any degredation of yahoo.

Sounds like a problem on your end. Is it the same ISP in each case?

Yahoo mail works fine for me, so its something on your faster system.  I'd run AdAware or something similar to see if there's a program conflict with the Internet buttons.  If nothing else, it'll get rid of prying eyes.

Just ran AdAware, didn't find anything, but what do you mean prying eyes? My family?
