Title: Joystick icon floats on start up

Not sure if this is a bug or not but thought i would see if anyone else has this problem.
Recently purchased a saitek cyborg graphite joystick, intalled it,did the joystick calibration in windows and the game.
For some reason when i first log in to play the stick seems to wander by itself. If i move it rapidly, get the don't move so fast message, then it works fine. Weird. Any ideas on why this happens and a possible remedy? Thanks!

I have the same stick and sometimes the same problem.

The trick is to keep calibrating it. Joysticks are just like cars, make sure they have oil, tires have air in them, signal blinker fluid is high, etc.

Sometimes sticks/ports will operate differently as they get warm. Most notably, in my Clevo laptop I have to recalibrate about 30 minutes after she starts up or there is alot of floating.

If its continuously losing calibration it may be a defective pot, the device that monitors the joystick placement along its axis.
