Title: LCD monitor question

I finshed my Simpit a few months ago, and am now looking to improve it, one of the things I want to do is to upgrade the monitor.  
   My question is what are the pros/cons of LCD monitors in AH?  From my stand point a LCD would reduce the heat load in my Simpit, would provide a larger viewing area for the same external size, and would provide storage space behind the screen.

What I am concerned about is, as there is no scan refresh rate, what will happen to my Frame rate in game , and what are the qualitys I should look for?

The Sim pit is coming to the con and a LCD would be much easer to transport.

CRT's are still the best option for gaming due to the smearing/blurring that will normally occur with an LCD.  Even the best LCD available will still have the blurring or edges on fast moving objects.

Sorry don't know anything about LCD, but how about post pic of your sim pit?
