Title: No color in dar bar, dot dar

The fan on my Radeon 9600 Pro crapped out so I upgraded to a 9800 Pro, and everything seems to work OK except I lost the colors in the dar bar/dot dar - they just show up as a transparent dark gray.

Never seen this problem before.  Help anybody?

You need to update your video card drivers - new card doesn't necessarily mean it has the latest drivers.  ;)

Flossy is absolutely correct, Oboe... saw the same thing on my 9800 until I put in the latest drivers.

Yep, that was it.   Thanks!   Downloaded the latest Catalyst drivers from ATI and that took care of the problem!
