Title: A lawyer joke
Post by: Krusher on July 28, 2004, 10:38:13 AM
Well not really....
I am Home sick today (sorta) reading.

Anyhow I found this nice (10 Page) article on Edwards/trial lawyers. I know it will be immediately discounted as a right wing rag, but...... Some of you have no problem swallowing everything the left claims about Halliburton.

Anyhow the poor mill workers son sounds like a really sweet guy

Good read if you have the time (http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=14362)

Interesting read... but hardly news... this has been a longtime coming, and is further reason to keep the bastards out of the Whitehouse.

Yes, lawyers should never be allowed to hold any political office.

Personally I will only vote for former professional bass fishermen.

I figure anyone smart enough to figure out how to make a living bass fishing is smart enough to run a country.

We'd be a lot better off overall if our politicians spent most of their time bass fishing rather than trying to "help" us out.

As in "I'm from the government and I'm here to help".

The fundamental opposite, of course, is that you can't exactly expect profit-driven corporations to do much good for the general populace either.   Unless of course you look fondly on practices like child labor and company towns that pay workers with their own worthless company currency.

Two sides to every coin.  Ideally governent and corporations cancel out each others' negative effects although historically this is somewhat rare.
