Great idea, Sand! Couple of remarks tho:
1) I believe it requires 2,500 pounds to drop a VH at an airfield, not 2,000.
2) The VH at vehicle fields require 700 pounds of ordnance.

Hang on a sec here.
I always understood that the city has absolutely no effect on the HQ rebuild time at all, it merely effects the factory rebuild time.......and, therefore if the city is destroyed the radar factory will take longer to rebuild when it is destroyed, therefore, increasing HQ rebuild time.
In other words, if ya want enemy radar to be down for 30 mins, just destroy the HQ. If ya want it down for an hour, destroy HQ and radar factory. If ya want it down for two hours destroy HQ, radar factory and city.
Destroying HQ and city = HQ down for 30 mins cos radar factory still at 100%.
or have I got it wrong?

Thanks guys... I've got some corrections to make...
You're right Swoop... I got it wrong. I'll change it for Curly's numbers also.
The Headquarters ordnance is also wrong. You'll need 20,000 lbs of bombs to destroy the headquarters.
The new board should be on later tonight.

I believe the city buildings had their downtime increased to 2 hours some while back, so you would have better time to take advantage of it.

Sand, unless version 1.07 differs from 1.06, the following is definitely true:
1)24k of bombs to take down HQ
2)The length of time HQ stays down is a function of the damage done to the city. Your figures are correct. Go read http://www.hitechcreations.com/map.html (http://www.hitechcreations.com/map.html)
BTW, it takes 200 pounds to destroy a fuel/ammo/barracks, not 250.

Okay... so is the VH damage different if it's a Vehicle Base rather than an airfield or port?
The percentage of objects down at a city complex affects the rebuild time of damaged or destroyed objects for that country's factories. For example, if a factory is destroyed and there is no damage to any city targets, the the rebuild time for the factory would be 30 minutes. If, however, the city were 50% incapacitated, then the rebuild time for the destroyed factory would be an hour. If the entire city were destroyed, then the factory rebuild time would be two hours.
The number of objects down at a factory complex affects the downtime of the corresponding structure at the field. If a radar factory is damaged or destroyed, the field radar rebuild time is increased. Field radar will be unavailable if the radar at the field is destroyed. If a country's HQ is destroyed, then radar is eliminated and sector counters become inoperable for that country.
Am I not seeing how a damaged city affects the HQ? According to this, destroying the city increases rebuild time of the HQ to two hours.

Your squad must be highly developed, and well informed.
As a previous WB flier, I'm really impressed with the members on this bulletin board.
There is some "popcorn gallery" on every BBS it seems, but they seem to be the minority here!
