Title: Hey Froggys...
Post by: Naso on July 28, 2004, 01:44:40 PM
Naso is going to invade France, surrender now! ;)

I am going to visit Normandie's beaches, Eben-Emael and Verdun, this summer, 2 last weeks of august (15-26).

Any hint, suggestion, nice cheap hotels, "to do" things?

Of course would be a pleasure to meet some of the AHers in the zone, expecially if provided with nice sisters. :D ;)

Froggys ?

Hey Saintaw , Naso is calling you !

Wtf did you choose the period where I'm not in Normandy ??????
Bastige !

I'm on vacation 400km south of Normandie from the 10 to the 31 :(

For normandie try to (at least) visit the beachs , st Mère l'Eglise,Bénouville (Pegasus Bridge) , Colleville and La Cambe
Try to go at Ouistreham , Honfleur (2 pretty nice towns)

But avoid at all cost any visit of Caen (destroyed at 90% during D-Day there is nothing to visit except the "superb" post-war building :)

And don't forget Bayeux tapestry if you can (I covered only the Calvados as it's the area where you will be)

Even if Straffo said there isn't anything at Caen, there is something special : The Memorial.
You should go there...

Nothing related to WWII, i'll go also to the Mont St Michel, great place to visit.

As i'm from south west of France (the best place to live!), i can't tell you much more from this part, so pay attention to the normand of this board, Straffo.

At your service. :)

Found this one, seem to have an english version too, and deliver in many places.

This other.

I have used this one (not via internet) sometime:

http://www.interflora.com/

Anyway, here there's a list of on-line flowers vendors.
