Gauge had couple needles showing the route to the radio beacon and the strenght of the signal AFAIK.

Its not a compass its an AFN2 Ln 27002 Homing indicator.

What does he use this for exactly? I bet he has it mounted on his wittle VW Bug and has a serious road rage problem, so he targets other cars on the highway that piss him off. :D
Shows innovation on his part though, I guess.
