Ki84
early P38 or B24/B25
T34
-
B29 (or some other bomber, B24 Maybe)
P38 (my greatest hopes)
Sherman Tank
-
Ki-84
P-38G/F or Yak-9M
T-34 or Sherman
-

I hope your right on the tank. I'd rather have a T-34 then a Sherman. But we do need some American tanks. Either would do nicely.
-
German Heinkel 111
Japanese Betty bomber
King Tiger tank
-
He 111
Ki-84 LaLa killer
T-34
-
Ki 84
M4A3-75
TU2
-
I don't think that it will be a new version of an aircraft already in AH. Pyro said that they would start updating the existing aircraft in versions beyond v2.01 and it doesn't make sense to add a P-38 or Mossie and not update the P-38 and Mossie already in AH.
I'll bet:
Ki-84-I-Ko Hayate "Frank"
Me410B-2 Hornisse
M4A3 E8 General Sherman
I'm real soft on the Me410. I'd say Tu-2S or Pe-2FT otherwise.
-
there is already enough american junk in the game, i hope its something from Russia/Japan (or british but im biased).
I'm hoping MiG-3U as a/c but i'm pretty sure its not. (my biased hope is that it is a B.35 Mossie, Spitfire L.F.V/IX/XIV or XVI, Beaufighter, Halifax III, Gloster Meteor III or a Gloster Gladiator)
As for tank its probably a Sherman - if it is i hope its the Firefly. Be really nice if it is a T-34!
-
Though TU2 was around till the 50's :P
I would like to see-
Bomber- B24
GV- sherman
Fighter- P47N or a beaufighter
:)
-
I'd love to see a beaufighter.
Firefly would be nice.
B-24 or He111
-
id probably re-subscribe if it was a P-38J.
at least for a month or 2 until the autoretract crapola makes me quit again lol.

What is it about the P-38J that makes so many P-38 fans cream?
Why do you want your flaps to break?
It isn't reality. It isn't like they would have held you from accelerating if they hadn't retracted. The way a computer program looks at it is not "the preasure is getting higher, higher, ok, too high, retract flaps". The computer simply has "if airspeed == x, retract flaps". All your proposed change would do is look like this "if airspeed == x, break flaps".
-
I believe it will be-
Ki84
A russian bomber
Sherman or T34
-
I have a strong feeling the ki-84 will be the new fighter and sherman the new tank
-
Ki84
Yak9-M
Sherman M4E8
-
I'm hoping for:
Pe2 or Tu2 (russian medium bomber)
He111H or B-25B/C
portable 88mm flak vehicle! YEAH BABY! :P
-
why does everbody think a KI84 is coming?

There was a huge 4-6 page thread concerning Ki84 performance charts, facts, and other sorts.
http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68547&highlight=Ki84
-
P-51A/A-36
Ki-84
76mm Sherman (could be late M4A3 or the "Easy 8)
My regards,
Widewing
-
Im betting Ki-84, Pe-2, a variation of the sherman.
Id much rather have a B-24 though :D
-
They better give us the Ki-84 or I'll unleash my flying parachuting midgets upon the offices of HTC, and knaw Pyro's ankles in rage!!
-
Fighter: KI-84 Hayate
Bomber: Pe-8 or He-111
Tank: Sherman Firefly or T-34 or maybe a Su-152 :)
-
I think it will probably be:
Fighter: KI-84
Bomber: B-24
Tank: Sherman or T-34
I hope for these (I can dream can't I?):
Fighter: He 219
Bomber: He 111
Tank: Not really tanks, but a Puma or SU-85 might be cool.
-
Me-410 Hornisse....
I dont care what else we get, as long as we get a Hornisse :D
-
The 38J is faster and lighter than the L model. Aka, accelerates better.
As for the other part, its been discussed to death. Do a search.
-
any one taking the p39 bet?
-
P39 would be a good early war plane
-
il take that bet:p
-
But we REALLY need more early war bombers.
-
I love these threads lol... no matter what we THINK they are making, HTC already knows, so just wait and quit trying to play AH Nostradamus! :D
Frank would be nice to kill the lala though, and an early war 38 would strike fear in the hearts of the lame :lol
-
He111. BoB would be made with this plane.
Ki84
I would pray jadgedpanther or panther but it ill nevar happen.
T34:(
-
WE ALL KNOW ITS A SHERMAN!... and another thing.. I hate that damn KI84 its ugly and its weird.. why cant we have the b24! or JU-87G!
-
Ki84 Frank.
He111
Sherman
-
Sherman ?
Thought you guys said this was a "flight sim" why would HTC waste thier time modeling and adding an "afterthought"
-
What the hell is with all the Ki84 requests?? If it isn't bad enough to already have the revamped Zero, you have the N1K2, the frank is as powerful and as fast as a N1K2 but turns as tight as a zero! What the hell kinda game you folks want? You GOT the zero AND the N1K2, why do you want an uber uber fighter mixed from the two? Dudes, just fly the planes we got, stop trying to make it impossible for people to ever kill you by wanting better planes, just fly better.
-
I wouldn't mind the Handley Page Heyford... if they could model it properly LMAO
-
ki84

But why add another "heavy"? The Halifax had a 13k load (where the lanc has a 14k) and flies about the same with the same performance as the lancaster. What's the point? New planes should *differ* from old ones somehow.

-
Hmmm.....most shermans had a 75mm gun, and wimpy armor, so i would go fo the T-34, new bomber i would like to see would be the He 111 - just because it was used extensively by germany, the new fighter....thats a tough one....how bout a MIG-3, just because i think the MIG company should be represented here...since it is one of the largest aircraft companies.

hehehe, me and frined for a long timeargued which was better; B17 or Halifax. I chuckle at the sight of one remeber how we would arguing during luch which was better. Btw still say the 17 was better:D
-
Instinctively I would agree with many that based upon past discussions here
Ki 84 (HTC knows it would have mass MA appeal)
Tu2 (HTC were obviously planning for it at a previous stage)
Sherman (More mass appeal and slightly more popular than the T 34)
But with an eye to AH2 TOD then they may be looking to strengthen the 1944 WETO plane set.
Fighters be come a quandry then as its either model variations on existing stuff or the likes of the P39 which I would not have thought popular but could be argued as a valid. Or they may let their eye wander off TOD for this one.
Bombers then start to focus on the B24.
Sherman varients are still valid
-
Ahhhh the ubiquitous plane poll....
Having consulted the spirit guides the following images appeared....
Ki-84 (a gimme)
Firefly
Beaufighter Mk21/TF MkX or Gloster Meteor
Tronsky
-
Krusty, I don't believe that everyone that says the next plane will be the ki84 wants it. My "what i want list" is a lot different to what i think will be modelled.
If i had my way it would be
Spit LF IX/ VIII
Seafire L III
Beaufighter
and maybe even the gloster gladiator and swordfish.:)
Just saw tronski's post- a firefly would be nice too.:)
-
Heh.. I "want" an F7F Tigercat, ceiling 40,000+, speed 440+ 1x torp centerline and 2x 1k eggs under wing roots, 4x 50cal + 4x20mm to boot! 180 or so were delivered before the war ended (the rest were canceled).
About half of those were special 2-seat night fighters.

if you yanks get your tigerpoop, i want a DeHavilland Hornet.. :D
-
Id like to see the Glostus Meteor, and early P38, and the T34.
Canaris
-
Actually for the Brits I think the Whirlwind would be in order, it's the equivelant of the f7f I'd think (late, twin engine design that didn't really see much if any combat)

Whirlwind entered service in 1940 and was withdrawn from service in 1941 (or very early 1942, I don't quite recall).
-
I thought it entered service, was plagued by problems, and only became operational (truly operational) towards the end of the war? I *might* be wrong.
-
No, it was an early war bird that didn't pan out and was canceled.
Westland wanted to replace it's Peregrines with Merlins, but given the cost of doing so the RAF opted to cancel it. There was no further developement.
-
whirlwind had the potential to become a great aircraft.. unfortunatly at the time, efforts were put into other projects..
if i recall, it never got the engines it needed to become an outstanding plane...
it did see quite a bit of action though
-
another plane worth a mention is the supermarine spitefull..
-
The spiteful was the predecessor of the spitfire, right? And wasn't the spitfire in production until well after the war? Thus wasn't the spiteful a post-war plane?
(No, I honestly don't know, that's how I logically thought of it, but I'm really asking, wasn't it post-war?)
