Leaving again tomorrow for a 10 day sail with the family. Leaving my laptop and cellphone at home so im gonna be analog for longer then usuall. (not counting the silly gps and other gadgets cause i navigate old school style  )

Enjoy my last hours of posting and you will all get a vacation from me for a long time :)

Have a good time Nilsen, and as usual make the trip pleasant for your kids, it'll be with them (the experience) the rest of their lives.

Have a good time out there. We caught a bad storn about 8 miles out yesterday I had time to raise the storm jib and reef the main but the wife was terrified. I was having a blast myself a little rough weather makes for a good sail imo. Alls well that ends well

Red sky morning sailors warning!

Fair winds and following seas...

Thx..

Mia is to young to understand whats happening so we will take it very easy with only short stints between marinas, islands and fishing communities. When we get down to my parents summerhouse in a couple of days ill put them ashore for one day and take 3 of mymates out for some serious sailing before they get back on. :)

-edit-  main reason for going analog is cause my gf is getting seriously upset with my puter habbits so i promised her to leave the lappie at home... she does have a point.

I just hope he dosen't show up with the Chainsaw to claim his 'half' of the boat...:)

I'd love to learn to sail, but after reading so much O'Brian, all these fore and aft modern boats don't look that sexy.

But those cruises on square rigged vessels seem a lot of work, and even somewhat  dangerous... "you will be required to go aloft" read the trip descriptions... i'm getting fat and lazy,  so...

Bleh, I'll just re-read O'Brian again :D
