Title: Is this enough Ram
Post by: jetb123 on July 30, 2004, 05:40:17 AM
I was thinking, Would it be a good idea to get a stick of 256mb. I got a stcik of 128 now. So that means my ram would be like in the 300s. Is that good enough for me to play ah2. Just trying to shorten the price. Or does anybody have any cheap 512 ram they dont need?

XP in itself takes 128 sys mem to run properly

for AH even with a 128 vid card my guess is 512 the min with 1gig the goal

as cheap as it is, anyone playing a graphic/cpu/system intensive game as Ah should be at a gig

I will just go with 512. To get to game. Then upgrade later

I run the same vid card except with 2gigs of ram, no problem here at all.  You need at least 1 gig probably, because when im playing it says its using around 600MB total system memory.

If you use XP, try this guide for disabling some services that may be hogging memory and bandwidth.
